COSINE

I designed the furniture series “coitti” for my daughter who does her study and homework in our living room.
I observed her daily life and fully considered both parents’ and children’s side of opinions.
This compact, flexible furniture series would match various life styles that not only for children, the family can also use them by adjusting the height.
“coitti” was the very first word my daughter repeatedly spoke when she was so little.
The meaning is unknown to us and is also long forgotten by herself.
But the sound of the word stays with us as an adorable memory, so I named my precious furniture series “coitti”.

家具シリーズ『coitti（コイッティ）』は、日頃リビングで学習をする、小学生の娘のためにデザインしました。
娘の生活を観察し、時に彼女と相談しながら、子どもと親の立場から学習家具を検討しました。
高さを調節できる『coitti』は、子どもが成長してからも使えるコンパクトでフレキシブルな家具です。
家族一緒に使うことができるので、様々なライフスタイルにマッチします。
娘が一歳を迎えるころに口にしていた言葉、「コイッティ」。私にとって、その愛しい口癖をシリーズ名にしました。
